Full Description:
The logistics analyst will enter COC lifecycle data into a logistics management database, and analyze the collective data using automated tools. This data will be utilized to maintain records, create reports, graphs, and charts for the Supportability Integrated Product Teams (SIPT). The logistics analyst will participate in the tactical planning of the service desk, and will interface with the engineering staff for Reliability and Maintainability (R&M) data gathering. He\she will be required to interface with the operations/production section to track production Change Management (CM) and configurations issues.
Specific Knowledge Bachelor's Technology Degree or Bachelor's Degree in an engineering support discipline (e.g., Management, Accounting) and a minimum of three (3) years of progressively more responsible directly related R&D engineering support experience, or have equivalent experience. Preferred two years higher level mathematics or engineering courses or equivalent military experience in a technical field (6 years). Minimum 2 years experience in Logistics, with emphasis on government materiel release requirements, and or total package fielding support required. Minimum 2 yrs experience with database tools and web applications such as MySQL, Oracle, Access, PHP, html & JavaScript. Demonstrate the ability to learn the use of various tools, as required for conducting hardware and/or software testing. Possess proficient communications skills for effective support of team members with less domain knowledge. Exhibit an in-depth technical knowledge of the required operational processes for troubleshooting malfunctions and/or providing formal and informal training to peers. Demonstrate creativity in resolving technical operational process issues. Interface with: External customer/Government, management levels (internal/external), internal customers; electrical, hardware and software engineers, operations and supply representatives. Prior military experience in a technical career field is desired. Be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all MS Office professional products. MS Project experience is a plus. Minimal travel required (Less than 3 trips per year). Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance. Applicant must be a US Citizen.
