Full Description:
Serves as part of a team to support government testing and training activities in a small team environment. Must be able to work independently. Participates in requirements definition, design, implementation, integration, test, and documentation. Regular contact with senior levels of internal work groups within a project and across a single engineering dept. Travel to customers sites may be required. Participates well in team projects and interacts well with others to produce positive group results. Specific Knowledge Min. of 5 years experience. BS Degree in a technical field related to software engineering or equivalent experience is required, as well as a demonstrated mastery of practical engineering application that is typically acquired in two or more years of directly related experience. The candidate has a solid understanding of either the Microsoft Windows development environment or the Linux development environment and programming languages such as C, C++, and C#. Advanced degree recommended. Required experience: • Microsoft Visual C++ • Microsoft .Net and C# • XML • GUI Development Desired Experience • Rational ClearCase • Rational ClearQuest • Enterprise Architect • Microsoft WCF • CMMI level 3 and above processes
