Full Description:
Support Dept. Mgr. and Division personnel in audit collection, organization, reporting, and archiving Support the database used by the contracts organization (entry, organization, reporting, etc.) Support Dept. Mgr. of Contracts with reporting mechanisms and metrics Support Contract Managers, as required, in the following activities: Review/prepare proposals, bids, RFP’s, contracts, amendments, change proposals and other related documentation and reports Research historical data to comply with appropriate laws / regulations, corporate policies & procedures Analyze contract requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure implementation is in compliance with contractual obligations from Government or higher-tier contractors, and applicable law/regulations and internal policies & procedures Draft and negotiate contractual instruments commensurate with skills of the job level Negotiating favorable conditions for cash management and profit/fee earning potential as well as other terms and conditions for contract performance. The successful candidate should have the following capabilities: Bachelor degree preferred plus 4 years of directly related experience. In lieu of a degree and associated experience, 6 years directly related experience is required. Demonstrated experience in resolving issues in a proactive manner while understanding the customer’s processes and requirements. Audit experience with third-party/Government audit agencies. Excellent judgment, creativity and problem solving capabilities with cross functional teams and suppliers. Excellent analytical, presentation, team building, communication, and leadership skills are required. Excellent knowledge of business management practices, approaches and techniques. The candidate should have current computer skills (preferably Microsoft Office, Oracle, LiveLink, and SharePoint). The following additional skills are preferred: Experience with contractual instruments (e.g., NDAs, Teaming Agreements, subcontracts) Experience with proposal preparation – preferably Government solicitations. Experience with negotiation strategies and execution for mitigating risks. Experience in working with Governmental Agencies and/or regulatory agencies. Working knowledge of procurement law and/or regulatory guidelines, legal concepts and compliance to policies and procedures.
