****Sponsorship is not available.**** INterpret engineering data and create technical art (diagrams, flow charts, montages). Create original art and edit existing art. Understand design elements used to create visual communications solutions, apply knowledge of color, layout, composition and spatial elements for the print medium. This position is intended to address spikes in work during the preparation of proposals in the Taunton and Needham, MA proposal centers. The need is for short, intense periods of time. A typical call-in results in 5 - 10 days of work. The ideal candidate may be someone looking for contract work to add to a portfolio of business. This position will not result in a permanent position. Specific Knowledge Advanced level of experience required typically obtained through an AA degree with coursework focused on graphics, illustrations, fine arts, and/or desk top publishing, and a minimum of 4 yrs. additional related experience is required OR BS, BA, BFA in advertising design, illustration, art, journalism, communications, engineering or computer science, or equivalent in education/experience, plus 2 years in directly related experience Advanced expertise in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop Proficient with Adobe PDF Proficiency with 3-D modeling tools is a plus Advanced level of experience required typically obtained through an AA degree with coursework focused on graphics, illustrations, fine arts, and/or desk top publishing, and a minimum of 4 yrs. additional related experience is required OR BS, BA, BFA in advertising design, illustration, art, journalism, communications, engineering or computer science, or equivalent in education/experience, plus 2 years in directly related experience
