Full Description:
The successful candidate will support all technical aspects of a large defense program and understand its development processes and system engineering practices. Designs and analyzes mechanical systems, and equipment including chassis design and test. Conducts feasibility studies and tests new and modified designs. Prepares detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Also includes activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical products and systems. Researches and analyzes data, such as customer design proposal, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application. Role model. Skilled at executing complex tasks. Bridges communication across the team. Mentors less experienced engineers. Participates in development of technical strategies and teaming strategies on project. Leads small technical proposals and contributes to medium sized proposals. Advocates continuous process improvement.
