Full Description:
Within the Information/Configuration Management function, be the custodian of product definition (documents and drawings) and facilitate and manage changes to that product definition in both the printed copy and electronic environment. Understand Government/Military documentation systems and document/part numbering systems. Possess a basic understanding of product identification, the document change process and status accounting. Have the ability to read and understand technical documents such as interconnect diagrams, schematics, logic diagrams, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings and associated parts and wire lists. Log and maintain all deliverable third party contracted software and COTS. Responsible to maintain project configuration logs.
AA degree required. BS or BA degree desired. 2–4 years experience in configuration/information management of Government contracted product development programs is desired. Knowledge/experience with personal computer operations as well as various computer applications is fundamental. Experience with UNIX operating system, Rational tool suite (ClearCase, ClearQuest, ClearDDTS & ClearMake) and large distributed applications (Pro/PDM, TeamCenter and Oracle) would be very useful. Good interpersonal and organization skills are a necessity. Applicant must be willing to work some extra hours if needed. Applicant must be capable of obtaining a US Security Clearance. U. S. Citizenship is required due to necessary security clearance.
