Full Description:
U. S. Citizenship is required due to a necessary security clearance. The Administrative Assistant to the Vice President Washington Operations Office primary responsibility is to assist the Vice President of the Washington Operations Office to synchronize and coordinate the efforts of all Service and Agency Account Directors and Managers. This responsibility requires coordinating maintaining sufficient knowledge of Washington Operations’ BD and management activities, and tracking all DOD business development activities in support of the Strategic Business Development and Integration (SBDI) department, all divisions and their business development (BD) strategist and business units, DOD customers, and other companies in the Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) group. Serve as primary human and material resource coordinator and manager in support of all DOD Account Directors and field managers, and SBDI Washington Operations Office tenants. Must have 5 to 10 years experience working with or at U.S. Federal Government, DOD preferred. Provides administrative support to Washington’s Office Vice President, DoD Account Directors and Strategic Planning staff Director within Washington office: Phone coverage, calendar and meeting management, travel arrangements and expense reports, development of presentation charts for senior staff, management and coordination of email, letters and memos Must have understanding of US Federal Government budget process Coordination and leadership of other administrative staff Budget and financial analysis support for DoD office and department functions Conduct research, compile data and prepare papers and reports as required Leadership of office, facility and equipment management including major logistics functions Interface with building management Assists the Vice President Washington Operation’s Office with synchronizing and coordinating the staff\'s effort – Information Management. General Administrative skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office, filing, phones. Additional requirements: 9 Years minimum prior administrative experience, with least 3 years of Senior Executive Administration support. AA degree or equivalent with 4-year degree college credits preferred. Must be able to travel 5% of the time.
