Required Skills:
BS Degree in electrical engineering +9 years of demonstrated results, or equivalent experience.Development of test hardware and/or software Generation of requirements for test software. Development of fault detection tests for radio components such as I/O and transmitters Development of fault isolation tests for interface between modules. Work with Embedded processors. The applicant is expected to attend meetings as a system engineering representative to communicate/direct the module test documents that will be developed by individual module subcontractor. Some travel may be required for meetings and later in the year travel to the test and integration facility in Florida may be required. Capability to obtain a clearance if necessary is required.

These skills are a PLUS:
Advanced Degree recommended.This task does not include hardware or software detailed design but knowledge of these domains is valuable to the team. An active secret clearance is desirable but not required.

Full Description:
Test Engineer working with a team to develop Test Instruction Documents for a software defined radio (SDR) that is currently being developed. For this task prior experience with development of SDRs as well as prior experience with defining and verifying module built-in-test (BIT) requirements to satisfy system level fault detection and fault isolation is required. In addition, this task requires that the applicant have oral and written communication skills necessary to work in a group setting and to produce high quality technical papers as required.
